1. How long is the performance?
Our performances run approximately 55 to 60 minutes with no intermission. They are followed by a brief question-and-answer session with the actors.

2. What time should we arrive at the theatre?
We recommend arriving at the theatre 30 minutes before curtain time. That would be 9:30 am for a 10:00 am show, and 11:30 am for a 12:00 pm show.

3. Where can I get directions to the theatre?
Specific directions to each theatre are available at www.artspower.org in the “Getting to the Theatre” page under “Field
Trips” on the left menu. Please download and print these directions since they will take you directly to the venue and include important bus and
drop-off information.
Be sure to take the directions with you on your field trip day.

4. What type of shows does ArtsPower produce?
ArtsPower produces original one-hour musicals and dramas based on popular and classic literature and important historical events. We create fully-professional productions for
elementary and middle school-aged children. [Back to Top]
5. Is the show appropriate for my students in terms of age and curriculum?
We provide show descriptions and appropriate grade levels for each production. To check if an individual production is appropriate for your grade level, go to

6. Where can I find educational materials for the shows?
For a free copy of our professionally written and designed Study Buddy© for your production, go to www.artspower.org and click on “Study Buddy” on

7. How many actors are in each show?
All ArtsPower productions have four actors in the cast. Some actors play multiple roles, which is called “doubling.” Each production tours with one stage manager who manages the
cast members as well as the technical aspects of the performance. [Back to Top]
8. What happens if we arrive late?
Late-arriving guests may be asked to wait until the first appropriate seating opportunity. We will hold late-comers out of respect for the performers and audience members who are

9. Can students that require wheelchair accessibility receive special accommodations?
We recognize the need for special accommodations for students in wheelchairs. Please be sure to mention wheelchair accessibility needs at the time you place your order and we

10. What if I need to add or subtract seats from my order?
You can change the number of seats in your order only before the balance due date. Please note that once your balance is paid you cannot reduce your
seat total. Adding seats to your order is conditional on seat availability in the theatre. [Back to Top]
11. Can I bring my final payment to the theatre?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payment at the theatre. Final payment must be received by the “balance due date” on your invoice to assure that

12. What happens if my field trip is cancelled due to bad weather?
In the event of inclement weather, ArtsPower will contact you on your cell or home phone the morning of the show to inform you of the cancellation. We will contact you when
schools reopen to discuss rescheduling the performance. [Back to Top]

16. May I take pictures or record the performance?
ArtsPower prohibits the use of any still photography, video, or audio recording. For the courtesy of the performers and guests, please turn off all pagers, cellular telephones
and watch alarms before you step into the theatre, and remind your students to do the same. [Back to Top]
17. May I bring food and/or drink into the theatre?
ArtsPower does not permit food or drink of any kind in the theatre, including closed or sealed containers and bottles of water. We appreciate your cooperation. If you have
students’ lunches with you because you will be eating at another site after the show, your bags and coolers will be stored outside the theatre.
